Florin

Before Florin came to my studio for his pictures, we had few zoom calls to discus and plan all his requirements. Florin is very busy and we needed to wait few months until he found a good time to travel to Manchester and have his photos taken.

For Florin it was a big milestone to reach this point and I was happy to share it with him. Florin confided to me that a few years ago he came from Romania to the UK and didn’t even have where to sleep; he was sleeping in the streets. Now he has reached a point where he is planning to write a book to help other people.

I was amazed by his determination, how he worked so hard to get out of his difficult situation, and come to a point where now he helps so many people.

Florin arrived at my studio together with his beautiful wife and sweet son, as he thought it would be a good idea to incorporate his photo session for his personal branding with some family shoots. I think it’s a great idea!!!

We started with the family photos first because small children quickly get fed up and we needed to hurry to have photos of Gabriel before he got too tired and grumpy to cooperate.

We took some traditional family portraits and then Florin surprised me by showing me the traditional costumes from Romania which he brought with for the photo session. These lovely matching costumes are what they wear in Romania for special occasions and Florin really wanted a traditional looking picture of his family to remind him of his native country.

It was fun!
 
  After we finished with the family pictures, Gabriel played with his mother while I started to photograph Florin for his personal branding shots.

He brought with a choice of excellent suit jackets that really show the different sides of his personality. It’s always good to have few outfits so the photos look different.

We took some photos outside as well. I have few favourite spots outside my studio that I like to use for photo backgrounds.

After the pictures we did the video filming. I really needed perfect quiet for this so Gabriel went with his mother to the nearby park while we worked.

Florin asked me to prepare some inspirational questions for him so he can have interesting videos.

Florin answered them very well and he now has a video which really shows a good picture of himself to his potential clients.

After Florin received my pictures and videos, I asked him to rate my service on a scale of 1 – 10. He gave me 20! I love when my clients are satisfied with my work as this is really my goal – to make my clients happy.
