Zichron Menachem is a Cancer support organisation.

They donate custom made high quality wigs for cancer sufferers. Girls donate their hair for this wonderful cause.

My friend called me and asked me to document the Zichron Menachem hair-cutting event in The Hob Salon in Hale.

I was really excited to take part in this Special Event.

The next day my two children and myself went down to The Hob Salon.

When we entered we immediately felt the excitement and high energy of the girls and their parents.

The atmosphere was electrifying.

The girls donating their hair were aged 9 till 16.

Growing one’s hair to donate to Zichron Menachem has become "The in thing" amongst the girls.

One girl was there for the 4th time!

After their hair is cut, the girls get a top quality professional haircut by The Hob Salon.
