Now before Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) when we pray for happiness, health and success in all areas for the next year, it's a very good idea to look back and be thankful for what we have, for our families and especially for our parents and grandparents.
We tend to get together for family meals over the Holidays, but maybe you live far away and you want to send them a nice, unique gift.
What can be more unique then a portrait of your kids, with blessings and wishes for the New Year? Something that they can look at or watch all year round and will fill them with happiness and excitement.
Here are 3 ideas of special gifts that I can help you with:
1. VIDEO CLIP
Gather your kids and maybe all your nieces and nephews (ie. all the grandchildren) and ask each one to wish something authentic to Grandpa and Grandma.
Then after you have it all, add music and texts, and gather it into a clip and send it to them before Rosh Hashana. This can be a great idea for a birthday or anniversary as well.
If you have no time or knowledge of how to do to video editing, I'm here to help you.
Reply to this email and I'll guide you till you get the best clip that your parents will LOVE.
2. PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS When was the last time you took family portraits where you all look amazing, happy and relaxed?
Now is the time! Arrange for a beautiful family photo and send it to the grandparents. They’ll love to see how your family has grown. You can keep it as simple as just a photo, or you can print it on a magnet, or even use the pictures to create a lovely album. Add a text with blessings and warm wishes and send it!
2. A PHONE CALL
But the main thing it's to remember to give a call, send an email or a real greeting card to those who will be happy to receive a warm wish from us... the auntie that we haven't spoken to for ages... the great-uncle who will be so happy to hear our voice... I'm sure everyone has these people who will appreciate your call. Now before the New Year it's a great opportunity to make them feel happy.
I guarantee your relatives would love to receive a gift like this, or even just a phone call, whether you will be seeing them over the holidays or not!
