Before & After Product Photography – Handmade Chocolates

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Mrs Reich's beautiful handmade chocolates.

Before contacting me, Mrs Reich had photographed her chocolates herself. Like many small business owners, she wanted to showcase her products, but she quickly realised the photos didn't present them the way she wanted. I was so happy I could help.

The chocolates didn't change.

The packaging didn't change.

The only thing that changed... was the photography.

She wanted professional photos that clearly show her different chocolate creations, so her customers can easily see what she offers.

It was a really enjoyable photoshoot... and I can honestly say the chocolates tasted as good as they looked!

After the photoshoot, I asked Mrs Reich a few questions about her business.

How did you get started?

"I saw the business advertised and immediately thought it would be perfect for me. I had always dreamed of having a creative business from home. After finishing my previous job, I was looking for work and realised that if I needed to earn a living, I wanted to do something I would enjoy. This felt like the perfect opportunity."

What makes your chocolates different?

"Everything is handmade. These aren't ordinary chocolates. I create chocolate pretzels, chocolate bark with a variety of toppings, and chocolate-coated peanut chews in the shape of doughnuts. Every order is carefully arranged in a special gift box."

What occasions do people order them for?

"My chocolates are popular for baby showers, bris celebrations, Shalom Zachor, bar mitzvahs, birthdays, Shabbos Kallah, campaigns and many other special occasions."

How long does it take to make an order?

"Every chocolate is made by hand and needs time to set. Then everything is carefully packed into the gift box, finished with ribbon, labels and all the final details. Every order takes time and care."

What do you enjoy most about your work?

"I enjoy every part of it. I love the whole process, from making the chocolates to preparing the finished boxes."

What makes you happiest?

"Every time I finish an order and it goes out to a customer, it makes me happy."

Do you have any advice for someone starting a business?

"Don't be afraid. You're the only one who notices the little imperfections—everyone else sees the beautiful picture."
